Gunskirchen, Austria, July 23rd, 2024 – Rotax kicks off the EAA Airshow week in Oshkosh with a bang. Once again, BRP-Rotax has secured a coveted magazine award: the Flying Magazine Innovation Award in the Editor's Choice category for the Rotax 916iS.

The award is given annually by an editorial board of Firecrown (formerly FLYING Media Group) to a select group of companies and organizations recognized for bringing new products and technology to the market that enhance the flying experience. The award ceremony was held in a special setting at "The Waters" on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh. Peter Oelsinger, General Manager of BRP-Rotax, Member of the Management Board, and Vice President of Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications, accepted the award on behalf of the entire Rotax team: "We are delighted to be honored by such a renowned and long-standing media house, and that the 916iS has also been able to impress and prevail here. Standing here today is a team effort, and I want to thank everyone involved."
